Personal Finance

Terms of use

Updated 5 November 2026 · Private, personal use

Personal Finance is a private, non-commercial tool operated by David Hoogland for his own accounts and financial planning. It is not a publicly available banking or financial advisory service. Contact: hello@davidhoogland.com.

Authorized personal use

Only the configured owner may use the financial application. Connect only accounts you own and are entitled to access. Bank connections require the owner’s explicit authorization with the relevant bank and are subject to the bank’s and Enable Banking’s applicable terms.

Read-only information

The application retrieves account information, balances and transactions. It does not initiate payments, transfer funds, change bank records or execute investment decisions. You can revoke bank access through the bank or authorization provider. Revoking access does not itself delete records already imported into this application.

Understanding the results

Financial summaries depend on information supplied by banks and on the owner’s categories, rules and assumptions. Data may be delayed, incomplete or inaccurate. Pending transactions and available balances can change. Recurring-payment suggestions, budgets and any future projections are estimates and may require correction.

Check important amounts and payment obligations directly with the bank or relevant provider before making decisions. This application does not provide regulated financial, investment, tax or legal advice.

Development and availability

The application is under active development. Features may change, become unavailable or contain errors. It is not a substitute for bank statements or an authoritative record of payments. Keep independent records of important financial information.

Privacy and changes

The privacy notice explains the information processed and how to request deletion. These terms will be updated when the application’s use changes. Offering access to other people or expanding beyond personal use requires a separate review of the service and its applicable requirements.
